Access Multiple Joomla Bitnami Stacks at boot up

Bitnami looks good but I am struggling and asking for help.

I have installed Bitnami 3 times on the one machine as a Bitnami Joomla stack under windows 10.

First as d:\XamPP and just apache ...Not used

I found I could start and stop Apache and Mysql running through the bitnami App

When I loaded the second copy under the d:\nrose directory the joomla worked okay as National Rose

started that web site okay and made up plenty of entries and images.

When I installed the last version it started the new web site as Qld Rose on d:\qrose it worked but cut out access to National Rose

The National Files are still on d:\nrose... etc and so is the d:\qrose... files

If I restart the computer it goes to the last stack installed.

I fund the Apache registry key under d:\nrose and under d:\qrose. Seems like the separate regisrty keys are okay.

How do I get back to the d:\nrose configuration on reboot or on a manual start agsin/switch arrangement

Hello,

What issue do you find trying to access National Rose? Are services under d:\nrose up and running?

I think it would be easier to use a single instance with multiple domains following Joomla documentation:

Thanks for the reply.

About 3 years ago I did roselovers.org.au web site and used cPanel
online to do the development. I used the cPanel redirect so I left the
old web site in tact and just changed over when all was working.Â Used
Akeba to backup at the end but still vague on moving to a new host.

I then got 3 web sites to do

(1) Queensland Council of Garden Clubs which was done in HTML with a FTP
to the host to load it up.Â The host said they didn't have cPanel.

(2) The National Rose group used Adobe MUSE and that is now obsolete and
FTP to the host with no cPanel too.

(3) Queensland Rose Society done in Front Page and FTP to host the same.

(2) & (3) could share resources as per your suggested documentationÂ (1)
should be separate.

First I got Filezilla an downloaded the current versions of each of
these sites.Â I can see the jpg files and the text files okay. Strip out
the html and put that in a Joomla article okay with a new menu structure.

So I found XAMPP and installed it on my computer under d:\xampp and all
the files are active.Â It has a start and stop Apache control window
that I found and it has worked okay

I then found BITNAMI Joomla and installed that as the new QCGC web site
and worked for a day or so making the articles and menus okay.

under d:\xapmm1/bitnami/joomla3.9.23.0/apps/joomla/htdocs

Port 81 SSSL 444 MysqlÂ 3307Â Â wrote down all the passwords and accounts
used.

I can see the new images files associated with this new web page.

I then did the same with the National Web site a couple of days later
with bitnami under d:\nrose

Port 82 SSSL 446 MysqlÂ 3308 Â wrote down all the passwords and accounts
used.

under d:\nrose/bitnami/joomla3.9.23.0/apps/joomla/htdocs

Couldn't access the QCGC details through Microsoft edge browser.

Spent about a week doing the National Web site and trying to figure how
to get back to the qcgc WEB SITE.

In desperation then set upÂ Queensland Rose under

under d:\qrose/bitnami/joomla3.9.23.0/apps/joomla/htdocs

Port 83 SSSL 448 MysqlÂ 3309 Â wrote down all the passwords and accounts
used.

I could only access 192.168.0.2:82 to get the Queensland rose site.

The windows 10 registry keys have the Apache/mysql/joomla keys for each
web site.

That is my issue.

Confident there is a solution.

Hello @johnkeays7,

I guess it is due to an Apache conflict. Since you have a working installation on top of XAMPP, and a Joomla Stack installation working, I would suggest uninstalling the stack that fails and installing WAMP 7.4 Stack and bitnami joomla module on top of this.

To David

Downloaded and installed wampservers 3.2.3.Â I can see that start up of
the Apache seer but not any bitnami details as ICONS

Wamp has used port 80Â and MySQl of 3306/3307 for MAriaDB

The previous bitnamis used port 80,81,82.Â Â A reboot has cleared all
these ports as I haven't restarted Apache for them

Can I copy the articles setup on the previous bitnami to the new arrangement

What do I do next

Think I have cracked it.

I have to start the apache and mysql server details with the executable
inside ofÂ d:\qrose for qld or d:\nrose for national

Use the password for the Joomla admin account and everything is still
there.Â Still have to get the port right on startup 192.168.0.2:82

So each instance of Apache is unique.

I understand you solved your question by manually starting the Apache and MySQL servers of your other installations, right? Do you continue having any issues?

I am now okay with the Joomla working locally and can access each of the
local web sites in turn.

Close off this support request.

When I finish the web sites then I will need to load them onto the
online host for each organization.

I think I will have to use Filezilla and then change some access details
to activate the online version

Is there some documentation on this new issue
