You provide your application code and scripts, select a few parameters, and hit create. Stacksmith pulls together the dependencies, documents and packages them, and delivers everything you need to deploy your application to your chosen cloud platform - the VM or container image and the deployment template.
Stacksmith continuously monitors your app dependencies, alerting you when updates become available, and providing a simple way to re-package and deploy the application.
How much does Stacksmith cost?
Stacksmith can be used to package up to 5 applications at no cost on the Public tier. These applications and the scripts used to package and configure them will be publicly accessible.
To package more than 5 applications or to keep your applications private consider Stacksmith Team or Enterprise.
What do I need to use Stacksmith Public?
- A free Bitnami.com account
- An account on AWS or Azure. Packaging and monitoring applications makes use of compute, networking and storage resources that may be billed separately by your cloud provider.
