Eclipse Che combines a developer workspace server and cloud IDE. Users can replicate, distribute and share developer workspaces so that they run identically on any machine and OS – virtually eliminating project setup and maintenance time. Che’s workspace configuration file encompasses project sources, build/debug runtime and execution commands. When the configuration is executed in Eclipse Che, the workspace is created in its own Docker container, protecting it from dependency conflicts. Che workspaces can be created for a brand new project, built to match a production deployment, or automatically created as part of the continuous integration pipeline.
