I have now the similar problem.
When I try to connect traffic from my AWS route 53 domain to my AWS EC2 Magneto instance, which is launched through Bitnami, I first associate my magento 2 EC2 instance public IP to Elastic IP amd then I make the new record set in my AWS route 53 hosted zone accordingly.
But when I reload to the new elastic IP, it always fail and still redirect to the old public IP.
According to above discuss and your answer, I run the following command inside my server
sudo /opt/bitnami/apps/magento/bnconfig --machine_hostname http://ec2-52-91-x-x.compute-1.amazonaws.com Changing the domain to your new one
but it appears following code
Error: There has been an error.
Expected option but got "ec2-34-213-xxx-xx.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com".
Options start with a leading "--" prefix
Use --help to get a list of valid options
--help show below
--machine_hostname <machine_hostname> Hostname
but this is the same of what you informed
Is there sth still wrong? Can you show the further SSH code ?
